ACCESS DENIED: Daddy's Sons and Daughters Conference 2026

Access Denied: A Daddy's Sons & Daughters Conference is a 3-night, unique, multi-cultural, ecumenical event that addresses the mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals affected by the impact of fatherlessness, abandonment, and abuse.
This free conference, hosted by Getting Families Together, comprises nightly workshops and worship services curated to help foster deliverance from oppression and closeness with the Heavenly Father.
2026 marks the 22nd anniversary of the Daddy's Sons and Daughters Conference, and this year's theme is "Access Denied" — a bold declaration reclaiming our authority, hope, and healing. Rooted in Ephesians 4:27, "And do not allow the devil an opportunity to lead you into sin," we are drawing a line in the spirit and declaring that the enemy no longer has access to our minds, our families, or our futures.
Nightly workshops run from 5:30–6:45 PM, focusing on three powerful pillars: We Believe You. Let Me Help You. Let Your Recovery Begin. Services begin nightly at 7:00 PM.
This year, we declare it is time to Restore. Reclaim. Reign. It's time to break every chain and walk in your purpose.
Join us June 17–19, 2026 at 905 East Shelby Drive, Memphis, TN 38116.
This is more than a conference — it's a movement. Families getting restored. Destinies getting activated. Bring your family. Invite your friends. Change your generation.

Our Story
Dr. Orlester Johnson, over the years of ministering to the community at large, began to have
heart breaking experiences during Sunday Morning altar calls. Seeking deliverance and
freedom from their pasts, women began sharing painful recollections of childhood abuse that
had them stuck. Several spoke of being subjected to abusive situations by men who were
relatives, teachers, coaches, pastors, or other “trusted individuals”. Some even confessed that
they continued to suffer as adults due to being in abusive intimate relationships.
Although ages, nationalities, and circumstances varied, all the testimonials shared a common
thread. This commonality was growing up in households that did not include their biological father.
In direct response to having these encounters, Dr. Johnson felt burdened of the Lord to do
something. This burden birthed the first annual Daddy’s Girls Conference which convened in
2005. Over the years, the conference focus has widened to include men as well because, we
know abuse knows no gender.
The impact of what is now known as the Daddy’s Sons and Daughters Conference, is
immeasurable. Countless lives have been touched as a result of this ministry and the work is
not done. As long as the void of fatherlessness is present in the lives of men and women, the
Daddy’s Sons and Daughters Conference will be on the front lines bringing
help, hope, and healing.
